Class 5: BLUEBIRDS OF HAPPINESS

In the 1920, the Eastern Bluebird was considered rare. They have made a slow comeback. What saved them? Attend oour Bluebirds of Happiness class to find out! We'll answer all your bluebird question, including where to place your nest boxes!

Class 6: MIGRATORY BIRDS OF SPRING

Many songbirds nest in the north and spend their winters far to the north and spend their winters far to the south. Yet many of the warblers, tanagers, orioles, and vireos pass through the Tennessee Valley returning home every spring. Learn where to look for them!

 

April 13th @ 11am

Class 7: THE BIRDS OF SUMMER

In late spring we see the return of many birds to our area to nest and raise their families. Learn where to find species like gnatcatchers, kingbirds, cuckoos, cliff swallows and the gorgeous indigio buntings!

Often when you see a raptor, you only get a quick look and they are far away. Learn how to identify hawks, falcons, vultures, harriers, and eagles at a distance!
